According to the Korean Companion Animal Society (KCAS), Lee Hyori went to an animal hospital and brought in an abandoned and injured dog on November 18th. The dog, Bambi, did not receive proper treatment after a car accident which prompted the gorgeous singer to arrange for the dog’s surgery. Bambi is recuperating and will be given to a new family in the next few weeks.

The  animal rights and protection advocate loves animals so much that right after her honeymoon, she rushed to the animal hospital to be with Bambi and even Tweeted a picture of the cute dog. She often volunteers at animal shelters and gives generous donations. The singer also participated in KCAS’s star donation auction event, along with K-pop sensations BEAST, SISTAR, CNBLUE, Seo In Guk, K.Will, FTISLAND, 4Minute, and a lot more. They donated some personal items to the auction.

This auction event started on November 15 and will donate all of their proceeds to various animal shelters.
