Clear your schedules and just sit and relax as the Third Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards opens live on February 12, 7pm KST at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul. This event has been pushed through to pay tribute and say thank you to all K-Pop international fans outside Korea and Japan.
Gaon Chart started in 2010 and become one of the most reliable and official basis of national music charts in Korea since then. It gains the support of Korea Music Content Industry Association and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Among the famous performances of last year’s awarding were Big Bang, Super Junior, TVXQ, Girls’ Generation’s subgroup TaeTiSeo, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, and many more.
