Super Junior was invited to give a lecture at the National Assembly of Korea as part of the “The National Assembly Top Class Culture and Arts Course.” In an announcement made by Jung Jin Suk, the Secretary-General of the National Assembly, he said “The event is a chance for us in the National Assembly to hear our young artists, especially the K-pop artists who are influencing the public and making names in music industry all over the world. Through this event, we are hoping to work with them and develop a mutual vision for arts and culture.”
For one and a half hours, the artists will talk about “The world is influenced by K-Pop,” wherein they will discuss the KPop’s local and global market, promotion and among other things to keep Kpop in music industry. As representative of Super Junior revealed, “The group will be sharing their personal feelings and experiences, how they started in Korean mainstream music business and how do they maintain their status as KPop stars.”
Other artists from SM Entertainment will also be participating in the lecture like Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Sungmin. The event will be held on February 20 at 7.30pm, and will be participated by the members of the National Assembly.
Super Junior started way back in 2005 and has been known all over the world for their hit singles “U,” “Sorry Sorry,” “Mr. Simple,” and “Sexy, Free and Single.”
